Charles I. Cate is the principal attorney of the Cate Law Firm. He is admitted to practice in Virginia, the District of Columbia and California. Mr. Cate is a former IRS attorney. His educational background is in Economics and Accounting and he holds a Master of Laws Degree in Taxation from the Georgetown University Law Center. While Mr. Cate has been a member of the Bar since 1970, his career has included extensive experience in Financial and Investment Planning, Investment Banking, and Insurance. He has also represented defendants in criminal cases in D.C. Superior Court, the D.C. Court of Appeals, and the United States District Courts for the District of Columbia and the Eastern District of Virginia.
